Once again the Boulder International Film Festival is playing host to DiMe! For its second year, the Digital Media Symposium will highlight visionary leaders in the film, media and gaming industries who will discuss future applications of digital technology. DiMe was originally designed to further develop the emerging local digital media industry and is presented this year by Colorado’s Creative Industries Division, the Boulder Convention & Visitors Bureau, and BIFF.
The 2011 DiMe features two panels with leaders in film, television, cable, gaming and mobile entertainment and technology. You will not want to pass up these panels on Digital Distribution and Monetization, and the Future of 3D. The event will take place on February 18 from 1-6 p.m. and the topics of the panel discussion are Digital Distribution and Monetization: Where’s innovation in entertainment headed in 2011? And The Future of 3D, in 2011 3D’s going from “gimmick to gold.”
Be sure to come hear what the leaders of digital entertainment are up to. A cocktail reception will follow with appetizers and a cash bar.
