Boulder Independent Business Alliance is a grassroots collaborative organization of locally owned independent businesses in Boulder County. Founded by McGuckin Hardware, Boulder Book Store, Boulder Weekly, and Eight Days a Week, BIBA uses advocacy and education within the community, as well as with member benefits such as brand recognition and cooperative marketing.

BIBA highlights not only the local independence of our members and the importance of shopping locally in Boulder County, but also the local economic impact that such a choice makes.
BIBA works to shift more dollars to community-based businesses by providing information to help people make fully informed decisions about where they spend their money and recognize the full value that those businesses provide Boulder County.
BIBA advocates for independent business owners as their voice in local policy decisions toward encouraging and nurturing an environment for local entrepreneurs.

As further incentive, most BIBA businesses offer great discounts and specials to card holding supporters and fellow member businesses. Visit the online member directory where you can identify local businesses offering the products and services you need. The member businesses are vetted and must be independently owned and based in Boulder County to qualify for membership. In addition, BIBA has an online coupon book for great discounts at BIBA member businesses.
